Every autumn we spend a couple of weeks in the last of the year’s sun making gallons of chutney. This helps us use the abundance of apples we are blessed with from our orchard. Over the years we have experimented with different recipes and have found our favourite – A traditional chutney with just enough spice to bring out the flavour of the apples. It complements a range of foods. Here at Sydenham Garden, we love to put big dollops of it into the stew or curry which we share together for lunch!
